Goaliath LED Basketball Hoop Light
Never miss a practice with the Goaliath LED Basketball Hoop Light. Great cliff notes summary. If you can't figure it out how to install the anchor kit from this you should get someone else to install it.
Not a good choice. Pay the extra money and get the anchor system prodigy 54”
It is not necessary to have 3 people. There is a better way. Check out how I do this.

Got it about 6 months ago and the bolts that connect the two main parts rusted and the ends of the bolts literally came off. Any easy fix for this? Didn’t realize rust would be an issue so quick like this

I just bought the goal and the anchor system isn’t included. We’re calling the community service tomorrow to see what we need to do(EVERYONE WHO BUYS THE 50 WARRIOR BE AWARE THAT THERE ISNT A ANCHOR SYSTEM)

Your instructions show the anchor plate flat on the concrete BUT the video shows it elevated and the bottom nut (Under the anchor plate) on grade resting on the concrete with an air space under the anchor plate. Which is it? (I did my anchor plate on the concrete....... concerned).
I just put in my anchor system and the instructions said that the bottom nuts would be forever imbedded in the cement. The plate should sit directly on top of your cement. The actual post will sit on top of the nuts that are above the plate then another set of nuts will be on top of the pole base. Could that be the air space that you refer to?
i Just bought this model at Dicks on sale. Was it worth it? I've heard bad and good reviews. I wanna say the bad is a result of poor installation?

@@vargas.smokes2098 one solid hoop kit. I went above and beyond and dug wider in the bottom of the hole and deeper as an anchor if you will. I live in windy Syracuse NY and it gets beat up. Worth the money. I also installed 20 feet of re-bar. Keep it wiped and wax the board occasionally. Great hoop. It's really a solid thing. Handles dunks well.

What is the rebar for? It's a concrete footing in the ground where the hell is it ever going? Stop scamming people by sending useless products and or parts
The rebar is for additional strength for the footing.
Hardly scamming people when they are sending the rebar pieces with the goal...it's not like you had to go buy extra rebar pieces! The rebar gives additional strength to the concrete.
It’s for extra strength when people decide to act stupid and hang from the rim. The j hook and bar over lap each other which creates a stronger foundation. Concrete isn’t always fool proof. Do what you please and install the way you see best. Don’t be crying when it falls over because you didn’t install right.
As an union iron worker I have to say Op doesnt know what rebar does...its to make the concrete stronger and less likely to crack over time, has nothing to do with holding it in place, thats what the depth of the hole is for
You can watch the thing wobble with any shot that hits rim!

How long do the pieces of 2x4 have to be? Is that 16 inches for each piece since that’s the hole diameter?
4..17.5in 2 X 4's will allow you to make a square that is 16in.

My hoop doesn't have an anchor system. Wish it did, but the directions for it state to set the post into the hole on a masonry block and pour cement around it. Is there a video for my style? Goliath B2257.

How do you level the post? Ours leans forward a bit.
@@leannemiller-mielke808 You have to turn the two bottom bolts in the front counterclockwise a few turns until the post is level. You will have to loosen all 4 top bolts a little bit at first. Then re-tighten all four top bolts once you get the post level.
Just bought this for my son for Christmas. Have no idea how well it works yet, but will post something after Christmas to let anyone who is interested know what I think about it.
